Dr. Cherita Weatherspoon

Dr. Cherita Weatherspoon is the founder and CEO of Spoonfed Motivation, LLC, the parent company of Mission Critical Consulting. She brings over 20 years of administrative experience in higher education, non-profit, and faith-based environments. Her experience as an executive has equipped her with a unique skill set that allows her to flow effortlessly from strategic to tactical perspectives to best serve the organization. Cherita has brought transformational results to the areas in which she has served by streamlining processes, reducing expenses, increasing financial resources, improving employee morale, improving client and student outcomes, and providing effective leadership through major organizational change. She maintains a successful balance between her tendency to be goal-oriented and valuing people, while being compassionate, fair, and just.

Cherita finds satisfaction and fulfillment in helping individuals align their profession with their purpose and helping organizations align their work with the mission and improving organizational culture through effective communication and leadership.

Cherita has been an adjunct faculty member at several colleges and universities, most recently at Alvernia University in the Master's program in Leadership. Cherita is a Certified Job and Career Transition Coach and a Certified Professional Coach. She is the author of Go! 10 Powerful Steps to Accomplishing Your Goals & Living the Life You Desire and Community College Leadership Defined: Identifying, Developing and Assessing the Competencies Necessary for Leadership Success in the 21st Century; and a contributing author in the International Best Seller, My Big Idea Book; The Gratitude Book Project: Celebrating Moms & Motherhood; and Black, Brilliant & Built For Success: The Everyday Hero and Heroine Edition. Rochelle Peterson-Ansari

Ms. Peterson-Ansari is a training specialist, coach and consultant in culturally competent administration, program and curriculum development, instructional design, teaching, leadership, youth development, mentoring and strategic diversity planning. In addition to working in higher education as an administrator and adjunct faculty, she has worked with non-profit organizations as a consultant and has led training for programs with the Anti-Defamation League.

Ms. Peterson-Ansari’s expertise is in organizational development/climate, anti-bias education, culturally competent curriculum design and instruction, programming, and leadership development.
